Home Again from round 2 of Chemo

Well Natalee has made it through her second run of Chemotherapy. We went down this past thursday and she had injections of Carboplatin placed in both eyes this is a form of her chemo but they inject it into the effected area. The eye doctor told us that she couldnt of told us better news. Natalee's chemo has died in her left eye so there is no more cancer in that eye. they just now have to give the chemo to get rid of the tumor (well what's left of it) and if she has vision in that eye it will be very bad. and she will need glasses to maximize her vision. as for her right eye the tumor has shrunk 60% so there is just a little left in that eye. but the tissue's have been damaged so bad that they give the eye less then 50% chance of survival. but we keep our fingers crossed and pray every day that our little peanut will be strong and pull through this. they told us that if her tumors would have grown from the side instead of the middle the chances of her vision being better would be greater. but we will take whatever we get. she is handling the chemo okay she had been quite sick and from the injections in her eyes and then messing with them soo much she has two swollen eye's but just continue to keep her in ur prayers and we will keep everyone posted. as always thank you for everyones support.. xoxoxoxo

Natalee turns 3 Months

well Today Natalee marie is 3 months old. wow how time flyes. She is getting bigger every day she is now 24 inches long and 12.5 pounds what a little ham. she is sleeping through the night again since kemo for the most part. some nights are bad but over all good.. thank goodness. she is moving all around. she rolled over for the first time on saturday. so that is good. But other then that growing like she should. as far as the cancer goes no more news yet. she goes on the 25th for her second kemo treatment and also her eye injections to help freeze the tumor to prevent from growing. we took her to the doctors last week to get a weekly cbc done which is her blood count and she was good. But she will get one of those every thursday to check if her counts are where they should be. we will have bracelets for sale soon that say her name. I will let everyone know when they come in. My grama ordered them so they should be in shortly.
